After a long week at work I couldn’t muster up the energy to leave the house today. So, instead, I took photos of random items in my home. This is a macro shot of a coaster. The lighter bits are the carved pieces, but they look raised because, well, the dark areas recede. I actually had quite a bit of fun looking at every day things from a different perspective. For instance, I had never noticed the wood grain coming through in the darker bits.
