I have been thinking about the sorts of images I wanted to capture during this quarantine. I considered doing all black & white, or approaching it from more of a documentary perspective. Until this morning I was still debating, and then in the middle of my run I came across this bright little guy. He was still sporting some of the moisture from the last bits of rain we got around dawn. He put a big smile on my face and I decided, I’m not changing my approach. Some days I’ll set specific plans for what I want to shoot, other days I’ll just shoot whatever I find along the way. Regardless, light and hopeful, dark and realistic, or somewhere in between, if find it interesting I’ll take a picture. I am not settled on a specific style yet and even though this is super noisy, the fact that I know that tells I am learning and growing. So that’s it. No dire updates. No deep thoughts about the future of the world. Just something I enjoyed and wanted to share. I hope he brings as much joy to you as he did to me.
