Day 158
April 10, 2020
Finally made it outside today. The sun came out for a bit this afternoon. Took a twenty minute walk and have noticed these Pincushion Proteas are quite rampant in the neighborhood. Yes I looked them up. They will open up and all the little antennae (I’m sure there is a technical term) will stick out in all directions. Keeping an eye on these guys as the season progresses. One of my favorite things bout this plant is the the red tips on the leaves. Such pretty contrast to the yellow on the main flower. For photo taking I used the Camera+ 2 app, the macro lens setting on the iPhone X.
As for the latest on the pandemic, we now have to wear masks when entering any business. We are not required to wear them if we are just out for a walk in the neighborhood or to exercise. All essential businesses must provide masks for their employees. Oh yeah, and today is a holiday, Good Friday. Days just blend into each other. It’s very difficult to differentiate between weekdays and weekends, let alone holidays versus regular days. This blog is the thing that keeps me aware of time passing.
