This is a roundabout at La Mesa, north of San Vicente. Feels like the middle of some field, far away from the city. Well, if you ignore the houses just peeking through in the background. While I sat there, on this beautiful, quiet street, I was reminded of a quote I read earlier this morning:

“In the rush to return to normal, use this time to consider which parts of normal are worth rushing back to.”

Definitely considering what normal should be, for myself and for all of us. Of course, I can only control what that means to me, but I have hope that we might find a better way.
