Took a trip to the nursery today. I started growing my own herbs a few weeks ago. There was a massive wind storm a few days ago that nearly killed everything. Now I am having to deal with slugs chomping away at my poor, delicate, little plants. And the the cilantro is definitely not going to survive. I started that plant from seeds because it is nearly impossible to get a plant. So, I’ll be starting that part of this project over. In the meantime, the very helpful lady at Armstrong in Santa Monica gave me some advice to keep the slugs and other beasties away from my herbs. I’m hoping this plan will work. I have to wait until they are about 8″ tall to be able to harvest anything, so a few more weeks of waiting.
