I am not entirely sure what happened to summer. Seems it’s gone away and it’s been replaced by this moody, spooky, fall like light. This feels more Exorcist than lazy days of summer. And sure, it’s June which means June gloom but this is a bit much for mid afternoon. By this time the marine layer has usually burned off and it is warm and sunny. Today the sun is struggling to make an appearance. So I’m just going with it and embracing the gothic feel of the day. Wuthering Heights, anyone?
