After what turned out to be a six mile walk yesterday, I had zero energy to leave the house today. So glad these beauties opened up and gave me some inspiration. I found a lovely haiku, originally written in Japanese. The translation is by the author, who lived in Japan for some time.

yo no naka ya … 世の中や
kage to hikari no …影と光の
chuurippu …チュウリップ

this fleeting world !
