Day 277

August 7, 2020

August 7, 2020 Sedona, AZ – Tlaquepaque Arts Village

There is so much to say about this incredible place. I spent hours photographing every nook and cranny. Some amazing piece of art or gorgeous bit of Spanish architecture pops up at every turn. Tlaquepaque (T-la-keh-pah-keh) was built in the early 1970’s by Abe Miller, a visionary lover of art and creativity. Building an arts community was a life long dream that he was able to make come true. I fell in love with this art village and am looking forward to going back and spending more time there. It is absolutely stunning. More photos and details about its history may be found in the Sedona 2020 entry in the Travel section.
