Quick getaway to Malibu today, Corral Beach to be exact. It was another hot day and it was wonderful to spend the afternoon in and out of the water. The surf was a bit rougher but it was great as long as you didn’t go too far in. I’m not a great swimmer and having watched Jaws at a young age, well, let’s just say those two notes keep playing in a loop in my brain. But I wouldn’t change anything. It was a much needed escape this week. Once again, the crowds were quite minimal; everyone kept to their areas and most people wore masks when they were walking around. On my way home I stopped at Malibu Lagoon to get this shot. It was about 7:30 PM and most people had already left. The timing was perfect.
