Day 318
September 17, 2020
The skies are much clearer today, and the air quality has improved, but that’s only because the wind has pushed the smoke in the opposite direction. The Bobcat Fire is still burning and Mt. Wilson is still threatened. This fire has been burning for twelve days now and it’s at 9% containment. Progress, but they still have so much more work to do. People have been evacuated, it jumped a freeway a few days ago, over a thousand firefighters are working on it, but this thing is massive. Hoping the clear skies are a sign of things to come.
