Day 35
December 9, 2019
This moon is not quite a full moon yet. The official date in the Farmer’s Almanac for the last full moon of this decade is December 12, 2019 at 12:12 AM. And it has a name, Cold Moon. Some Native American Tribes are said to call it Long Nights Moon. Pagans called it The Moon before Yule. The Celtic named it Wolf Moon. Also there is apparently a meteor shower that can be seen on the evening of the 11th, when the full moon begins to rise for its 12/12 at 12:12 AM fullest stage.
