Today was spent in my favorite museum in the US. I may be a bit biased since I grew up going there. I have logged more hours at this museum than any other. But it honestly has such an incredible collection. And there is always some incredible new thing to discover. I took this photo in the paperweight room. The Art Institute has about 1,200 of these magical orbs, of which 800 are currently on display.
