The Roy E. Disney Animation Building at the Disney Animation Studios on Buena Vista has been at this location since 1995. The main entrance features the Sorcerer’s Apprentice hat from Fantasia. Presently the building houses corporate offices, as the actual animation work is done at the Grand Central Creative Campus in Glendale. Somewhere near the creative campus is the Animation Research Library which houses millions of pieces of Disney’s animation archives dating back to 1924. Apparently that location is a secret. So ‘The Hat Building” is the closest we’ll get to that history.
