Twentieth Century Studios just doesn’t have the same ring as Twentieth Century Fox. And honestly, to most of us, it will probably still be called the Fox lot. At least for as long as those of us that were around for the sale to Disney are still working in this business. With Fox being one of the “Big Six” studios of the twentieth century there is, of course, so much history here. And you can feel it when you walk around the lot. This is, after all, the studio that brought you The King and I and Carousel in CinemaScope. Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Cary Grant were some their contract players. And they are the home of The Simpsons. So yes, this place has history, in every nook and cranny.
